1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, melted
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 large eggs, beaten
1/2 cup Nutella®
1/2 cup peanut butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. (I think it’s a good idea to sift dry ingredients 3-4 times.) Melt butter in the microwave in a medium-size bowl, and add the sugar and vanilla. Add the beaten eggs to the butter/sugar mixture, blending well. Pour into the large bowl with the dry ingredients and mix everything together until thoroughly combined
Microwave the peanut butter and Nutella® in 30 second increments until it has a runny consistency; add to the batter and mix together well. Stir the Nutella® mixture into the batter; then pour it into a 9x13-inch baking dish that has been liberally sprayed with cooking oil. Bake for 30 minutes. Let brownies cool completely before cutting.
Notes: Make a quick and easy powdered sugar icing to drizzle over the brownies: 2 cups powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Can also sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
