Heart-Shaped Cake

1 box cake mix (any flavor)
1 can white or strawberry icing
cinnamon red hots

Prepare cake recipe according to package instructions and pour ½ of the batter into a 9” SQUARE pan, and the remaining ½ into a 9” ROUND pan. (Note: You can also use 8” pans, but the round and square pans have to be the same size in diameter.) Bake according to package instructions and let cool.

After cooling, cut the round cake down the middle, evenly in two pieces. Place the square cake on a large piece of cardboard or cookie sheet lined with foil. Then place one round half against one side of the square, and the other half against the next side. This will be in the shape of a heart! Frost with icing and decorate with red hots or other cake decorations of choice.
